TAWATEC is a brand of TAWATEC AG Switzerland which designs and makes timepieces which are rugged and luminescent with glowing materials such as tritium.

About a hundred watch designs have been sold from the beginning of the company’s activity.

The company was started to create time pieces specifically geared towards the rigorous requirements of law enforcement, military and firefighting professionals.[1]

The company's name is an acronym for TActical WAtch TEChnology.
