The Fajr International Film Festival (Persian: جشنواره بین المللی فیلم فجر‎) or Fajr Film Festival (Persian: جشنواره فیلم فجر‎) is Iran's annual film festival, held every February in Tehran, Iran. The festival, started in 1982, is under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran. It takes place every year on the anniversary of the Iranian revolution. There were 90 feature films submitted for the 29th edition of the festival in 2011.[1]
