Kakanwada is a village, in Sangrampur tehsil of Buldhana district, Maharashtra State, India. It consist of two censous village Kakanwada Bk and Kanawada Kh and lies on each side of Vaan River.


It is located on MH State Highway 195 connecting Jalgaon Jamod - Sangrampur - - Warwat Bakal on east side and on west side Malegaon Bazar - Telhara - Warula on MH SH 24.


As of 2001 India census,[1] Kakanwada Br and Kakanwada Kh had a population of 1462 and 1010.


The town post office Postal Index Number (PIN code) is 444202 and PIN is shared with Palsi Zasi, Warwat Bakal, Sangrampur post offices.[2]
