The genus Muilla includes three to four species of flowering plants. In the APG III classification system, it is placed in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Brodiaeoideae.[1][2] They are native to western North America.[3] The genus name is an anagram of Allium, the onion genus, for the flowers' resemblance.[4]
