Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran

Sport Sciences Research Institute of Sport Sciences. It was established in 1998 by Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. In 2011 to improve its structure the research center was promoted to research institute[1] and moved to its new location in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi.[2] The president of the institute is Dr Mahdi Talebpour.

Aims

  1. To develop scientific research in the field of physical education and sport sciences.
  2. To create appropriate opportunities for the promotion of research activities in the field of physical education and sport sciences to integrate sport sciences and practice in the field of the sport.
  3. To help other educational and research institutes to enhance the quality of research activities in the field of physical education and sport sciences in Iran.
